I am someone who often wants to perform at a fast pace. That’s why I’ve learned to create a calm moment every day, where I allow myself to slow down and recharge.
I’ve seen the huge difference it makes, and that’s why I want to inspire you to bring mindful living into your life.
What Mindful Living Means to Me
For me, mindfulness is about creating moments that help me slow down and feel calm. This allows me to release stress and be more present right there and then. After these moments, I feel much more energized and relaxed, which gives me stronger focus.
I’ve Created Routines to Bring Mindful Living into My Daily Life
Yoga/Pilates and journaling
I always start my day by waking up earlier to give myself the chance to move calmly and write in my journal. This helps me feel better and ready for the day with the right mindset. Pilates and yoga ground and focus my body, and journaling afterward makes that moment even more meaningful.
Walks
For me, walks are much more than just exercise. I try to get outside in nature every day to create calm, giving myself the opportunity to think and release stress. I also enjoy the feeling of being active, so for me, this is an active rest that helps me recover and boosts my creative thinking.
Self-care routines
I take time every day to care for my body and mind. These moments have become my time to relax and just be present. The feeling after doing something for myself is very empowering, so I believe it’s important that we learn we are worth taking care of. Examples of my self-care routines are skincare, lymphatic massage, hair care, and daily mindset work.
I know mindfulness can look different for all of us the important thing is that you allow yourself to find what works for you.
What do you do to bring more mindfulness into your everyday life?
Feel free to share. I know we can inspire each other.
Love, E.
